Description
The collection consists of materials from Dr. Robert Griffin, a Professor Emeritus of Comparative Literature and French at
UC Riverside. Items in the collection are mostly related to
Native American studies and programs on campus, including materials documenting the establishment of the Rupert Costo Chair in American Indian
Affairs and the Rupert Costo Library of the American Indian, items documenting recruitment efforts and plans to enroll more
Native American students, and records and publications from the
Native American Student Programs office and
Native American Students' Association. The collection also includes materials related to the Sherman Indian High School in Riverside.
